EDITOR LOSES MOTHER IN RIVERS
MR. Kio Nimengoka, the editor of one of the leading local newspapers in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, has lost his mother, Madam Sarah Tamunotaribo Nene Ochiemiebia. Mr. Nimengoka edits The Port Harcourt TELEGRAPH.
His mother,Madam Ochiemiebia who passed on on January 9, 2010 at Braithwaite Memorial Hospital, Port Harcourt after a brief illness was aged 75.
According to burial arrangements by the family, late Ochiemiebia will be buried on Saturday April 24, 2010 at her home town, Ogu in Ogu/Bolo local government area of Rivers State.
Fondly called Sisi, Late Ochiemiebia was described as devote Christian whose lifestyle had positively affected many within Ogu Community.
According to Mr. Nimengoka, who is the Chief Mourner, the demise of his mother had created a vacuum within the family considering her laudable contributions to the family. ENDS
